MBT Supports Digital Transformation of Health Services in East Java

Mega Buana Teknologi (MBT), a provider of Information Technology (IT) infrastructure solutions, a subsidiary of the CTI group which is one of the subholdings of PT Anabatic Technologies Tbk held a discussion event entitled Improving Health Care Operational Efficiency Through Digital Transformation to support the digital transformation of health services in East Java.

Yuwono Pranata, CEO of MBT said, this is part of MBT’s commitment to contribute to improving health care governance throughout Indonesia through the use of digital technology to improve the quality of service to patients.

“With the support of MBT expertise and digital solutions from NetApp, we are here to help hospitals provide a better experience and convenience for patients in obtaining health services,” he said.

Even so, he continued, his party is open to the market for all industry segments such as retail, government, banking, manufacturing and others will also be supported regarding moving databases to the cloud.

“It all depends on future partners or business partners who use our services,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Analysis and Monitoring Coordinator of the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) dr. Iskak Tulungagung, Heru Eko Susanto, said that the role of digitization related to data in his place plays a fairly central role by becoming a link between service units.

“Now data is not just a necessity but indeed a need, because data delivers business innovation. So all hospitals or agencies or organizations now depend on data for them to survive the current era of disruption,” he said.

Whatever it is, he continued, that generates data must be collected and maintained for business sustainability in each company, especially hospitals that intersect with patient data every day.

“Back to the service aspect, of course, patients now have more expectations of hospital services that have carried out digital transformation,” he said.

Now, according to him, if the patient queues for a while or there is nothing appropriate, it will be busy on social media because currently patients tend to be active.

“In the past, patients were passive, now many are active, starting to ask a lot of questions, seek information, dig up news or information on the internet,” he said.

Please note, RSUD dr.Iskak Tulungagung, at the end of 2022, again received the Top Digital Award for the Top Digital Implementation category.

The award also indicates that it has implemented ICT services in accordance with the standards set by the Health Social Security Organizing Agency (BPJS).

“We are very pleased to be part of this event, to get together with information technology or digital solution providers to discuss various innovations and trends in healthcare,” Heru said.

Meanwhile, Adir Ginting, Country Manager of NetApp Indonesia added, along with the acceleration of the digital transformation journey of health service providers in Indonesia, the volume of data generated will continue to increase exponentially.

“Therefore, it is important for healthcare providers to utilize data more efficiently, securely, and in real time so that they can develop and implement innovative patient-oriented solutions and improve the overall quality of the patient experience,” he said.

According to him, through his partnership with Mega Buana Teknologi, he is proud to play a role in helping large healthcare providers and hospitals.
