PT Anabatic Technologies Tbk marked World Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Day which is celebrated every April 28 by encouraging employees to pay closer attention to their health. In collaboration with Bethsaida Hospital, company offers free health examinations and seminar on occupational illness prevention.
Employees appeared to be excited about taking part in the event, which took place on May 3, 2023, at Graha Anabatic in Tangerang. Dr. Nurul Hanifa, Sp.Ok, Bethsaida Hospital Occupational Specialist, who explained the importance of knowing occupational illness, also appreciated this.
“I am sure that employee health education is not solely the responsibility of the OHS team. This information has to be broadly communicated. I am delighted to be a part of the event, especially because of the enthusiasm of the participants and the uncommon topic of the seminar, namely occupational illness,” stated dr. Nurul.
The day’s event started with a seminar on occupational illnesses. The session included not only professional talks but also interactive questions and answers with attendees. Following that, medical examinations were performed.
“We want to promote the OHS culture within the company through this World OHS Day celebration. Furthermore, by participating in this event, we hope that employees will pay more attention to their health,” said Alvin Randy, Internal Audit Manager and Chair of Occupational Safety and Health PT Anabatic Technologies Tbk.
A safe and healthy work environment is one of the important aspects emphasized by the International Labor Organization at the celebration of this year’s World OHS Day. On the other hand, the theme for National Occupational Health and Safety Month in 2023 is fulfilling decent employment through OHS culture to support business continuity in every workplace.
In line with these, company understands that employees deserve a safe and healthy work environment in order to be motivated to do their jobs.
Anabatic Technologies provides eligible work facilities, health insurance, and safety issues education such as rescue in emergency situations, one of which is delivered by conducting fire simulations. Furthermore, the company routinely conducts medical examinations for employees and formed a COVID-19 task force to support and assist employees.
