In today’s rapidly evolving world, it is becoming increasingly difficult for young talents to enter the workforce due to the fierce competition they face. Anabatic Technologies Tbk and Trisakti School of Management (TSM) collaborated to host “Career Bootcamp: From Paper to Performance” to address the increased demand for thorough training prior to graduation. The event aimed to assist students in making the transition from academic to professional life.
The two-day event, which took place on September 20-21, 2023, gave students the opportunity to experience and master key areas of job search. Cover letter writing, curriculum vitae (CV) preparation, and interview skills are all covered.
“We chose topics that are important to students, particularly those in TSM who are preparing to enter the workforce. The goal of this Career Bootcamp is to provide students with practical guidance on the key steps to entering the competitive job market,” said Novy, Recruitment Manager of PT Anabatic Technologies Tbk.
Monica Gunawan, Senior Recruitment Officer of PT Anabatic Technologies Tbk, delivered guidance on CV and cover letter writing on the first day of the program. The participants were taught how to grab the attention of the company with these key documents during the workshop.
On the second day, they were encouraged to participate actively through roleplaying session. This workshop provided future talents with useful experience, such as being interviewed by recruiters and receiving interview advice.
“This Career Bootcamp is a training that aims to teach students how to put together a good and correct CV and job application letter, as well as to provide a forum for students to practice job interviews. So that the knowledge they gain in class can be balanced with the practices carried out in this training with practitioners who are experts in their fields from Anabatic Technologies,” said Annisa Kanti, Head of Trisakti School of Management’s Career and Alumni Development Centre Unit.
The participants that took part in this event were equally enthusiastic. This can be seen by how they engaged in the question and answer session and CV discussion. Furthermore, they demonstrated readiness through an interview training session (roleplay) with mentors from Anabatic Technologies.
The Career Bootcamp has the objective to assist students enhance their abilities and lay a solid basis for their employment search.
In the process, the company also builds stronger bonds with potential talent and trains individuals to contribute to the world of work, particularly in the competitive IT market.
