President Director PT Anabatic Technologies Tbk Harry Surjanto attended the Executive Leadership Forum (ELF) and iCIO Awards 2025, held at Ballroom 3, The Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place, Jakarta. The event, organized by iCIO Community, carried the theme “From Strain to Strength: The CIO’s Cookbook for What’s Next”.
Harry was present in his capacity as Founder and Advisor of iCIO Community, a professional forum established as a platform for Chief Information Officers (CIOs) across industries to share best practices, exchange insights, and discuss how technology can drive business transformation.
This year’s Executive Leadership Forum highlighted the growing importance of the CIO role in today’s business environment. CIOs are increasingly expected to deliver greater business value despite resource limitations. The discussions emphasized that IT cost optimization should go beyond short-term budget efficiency and instead focus on creating sustainable value through waste reduction, maximizing existing investments, and channeling resources toward high-impact initiatives.
The event was attended by members of the iCIO Community, as well as executives and professionals from various industries. Among the distinguished guests was Rudiantara, former Minister of Communication and Information Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (2014–2019), who served as one of the judges for the iCIO Awards 2025 in the CIO category.
The event also had panel discussion that was moderated by Dickie Widjaja, CEO of KLAB, and featured prominent speakers including Norman Sasono, CTO DANA Indonesia; Liana Kuswandi, Finance Director PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk; and Enda Juanda, Indonesia Lead OceanBase. The discussion highlighted that technology investments must be viewed as ongoing, strategic initiatives that support long-term business goals rather than one-off projects.
Panelists also shared perspectives on the need for CIOs to prioritize IT investments strategically across three areas: maintaining core operations for business continuity, supporting business growth through agility and scalability, and driving innovation through efficient technology implementation. Despite limited budgets, these constraints can act as catalysts for creativity, efficiency, and transformation.
The iCIO Awards 2025 recognized exceptional CIOs and CEOs who have effectively led digital transformation within their organizations. The awards honor leaders who use technology to enhance business value, performance, and innovation as well as visionary CEOs who inspire such transformation through leadership and vision.
From strain comes strength. From limitations, innovation is born. The future of business belongs to those who can balance operations, growth, and innovation even when resources are not ideal.
